York is a Principal and serves as the Director of Lafayette Operations for Don R. Scheidt & Co., Inc. This position includes the responsibilities of managing the office, training new employees, negotiating appraisal fees and contracts, and marketing of the company's services. York has completed a variety of commercial appraisal assignments including existing and proposed hotels, retail, industrial, office, apartment, single family subdivisions, and vacant land, as well as mixed use and special use properties. He is an MAI Member of the Appraisal Institute.  He is a Certified General Appraiser in the State of Indiana and also holds a Real Estate Broker’s License. York is a member of the Lafayette Regional Association of REALTORS. He graduated from the Miller College of Business at Ball State University with a degree in Business Administration. In addition York is active in his local church, and is active within Tippy Connect young professionals.

Kevin joined Don R. Scheidt & Co., Inc. in the spring of 2011, and has been actively appraising real property since. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision from Purdue University’s College of Technology, and also completed extensive coursework in Industrial Technology. Kevin is a Certified General Appraiser in the State of Indiana and is working toward his MAI designation.  His experience includes preparing appraisals on a variety of assignments including vacant land, single family subdivisions, industrial properties, office, retail, restaurants, single-family residential, multi-family residential, mixed-use properties, and special use properties such as churches, fraternities, sororities, and funeral homes.

Evan joined Don R. Scheidt & Co., Inc. as a commercial real estate appraiser in June 2013. Evan is a native of the Northwest Indiana “Region”, spent nine years as a resident of West Lafayette, and is a current resident of Chicago. He graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from Purdue’s Krannert School of Management in 2012. Evan attained his Certified General Appraiser license in the State of Indiana within his first three years at Don R. Scheidt & Co. In 2018, Evan attained his Certified General Appraiser license in the State of Illinois and practiced appraisal with a Chicago-based firm for six months. Evan is now back with Don R. Scheidt & Co. and practices appraisal primarily throughout Indiana. In his six years of appraisal experience, Evan has appraised a wide variety of property types throughout Indiana and Chicago, including industrial, office, retail, restaurant, shopping center, multi-family residential, manufactured housing, mixed-use commercial, land, and special use types such as churches, fraternity and sorority houses, and funeral homes.

Garrett joined Don R. Scheidt & Co., Inc. as a commercial real estate appraiser in December 2016. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Counseling and Planning from Purdue’s College of Health and Human Sciences. He is currently working towards attaining his Certified General Appraiser license in the State of Indiana. His experience with Don R. Scheidt & Co. includes appraising a variety of property types, such as industrial, office, retail, multi-family residential, mixed-use commercial, special use properties, and vacant land.

Mac joined Don R. Scheidt & Co., Inc. in August 2017 as a commercial real estate appraiser. He graduated from Wabash College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Classics in 2017. He is currently working towards attaining his Certified General Appraiser license in the State of Indiana. In his time with Don R. Scheidt & Co., Mac has gained experience appraising a variety of properties, including office, retail, multi-family, and industrial.

Matthew joined Don R. Scheidt & Co., Inc. in the spring of 2021. He holds a Bachelor of the Arts degree in history from Brigham Young University. A California native, Matthew relocated to the greater Lafayette area with his family in 2016. Matthew is currently working towards attaining his Certified General Appraiser license in the state of Indiana. Matthew’s experience includes preparing appraisals on a variety of assignments including industrial, office, retail, multi-family residential, mixed-use, vacant land, and special use properties.
